Drew Connors loved the feasibility and versatility of his electric turkey fryer.

Gas grills like the Alfresco grills were his personal favorites because of their solid construction, but his love was the barbeque smokers. He thought barbecue recipes could best be barbecued on barbecue smokers because of the work of the smoke that accounts for that distinctive flavor he had grown to love.

In order to churn out delicious and delectable grilling recipes, he had the nerve-wrecking choice of choosing between a floor model and a countertop model when he was at the grill store.

Drew was, quite simply, a grilling and barbequing pro. Although he liked cooking his barbecue in this manner, smokers and turkey fryers captured his interest the most. When asked why he preferred a turkey fryer, he explained that turkey fryers could cook turkey within an hour. He even used his turkey fryer to cook chicken and steak because he had the proper racks and stands available for them to cook on. Drew worked at a university cafeteria where he had to grill an astounding amount of turkey and french fries every day. He knew that the Weber grill could not do that so quickly, and neither could a barbecue smoker. Being the barbequing enthusiast that he was, he really knew which grills worked the best in preparing bbq foods at a speedy rate. His personal favorite food was lamb chops, and he always used his compact charcoal grill to cook this appetizing barbecue food wherever he went.

In his will, Drew left his classic Bradley smoker to his wife, Melinda. Drew is passed away now. His legacy included grilling those abnormally delicious bbq turkey, chicken, and steak recipes – and helping others do the same. Think of Drew Connors every time you prepare those turkey recipes on your electric fryer. His spirit will probably do all the grilling for you!
