Bbq ribs are mouth watering, stomach pleasing (even historic) staples of American barbecues.
What is better than ripping saucy cooked meat off of a kebab or spare rib with your teeth and chowing down? Back in the old days, natives didn’t have the luxury of plates and silverware to arrange their ribs. Hunters would trek deep into the woods, fall their prey with bows and arrows, shred animals, and eat at a campfire on the spot! In essence, BBQ ribs are without doubt popular products of gas grills and barbeque smokers.
Barbeque smokers are your best bet for cooking fine spare ribs.
The best barbecue ribs are saturated with meat juices, marinated with bbq sauce, and tender on the bone. To achieve this, smokers MUST heat your barbecue ribs over a long period of time with consistent slow heat. Gas grills do not do as good a job as barbeque smokers in preparing these stomach caressing grilling recipes. To cook ribs, you must first remove any excess fat. Keep in mind, ribs might not come separately (as you see with home delivered Chinese spare ribs) so you must slice them into even sized pieces after barbequing. Grilling pork ribs generally takes less time than grilling beef ribs (due to the large size of beef ribs) so choose wisely if you get teased easily by the nose breaking aroma.
Use BBQ Sauce to make that rib grilling recipes even that much better. You can use typical store bought bbq sauces to marinate your ribs, or create your own bbq sauce recipe to add special unique flavor to your barbequing. Dip it in sauce, cook it in sauce – it is up to you! BBQ ribs are a fine addition to grilling burgers, steaks, and lamb chops – boy, am I getting hungry just writing about this BBQ!
